This riser (photo 1) will bring the Klein Jig up to the correct spindle height for most of the mini lathes on the market today. It will fit lathes with a spindle height of 5” over the bed and a gap between the ways of 1 1/4”.
If your lathe spindle is 6” over the bed, it is easy to add a 1” spacer to the riser block.
Photo 2 shows how the Jig and Riser block assembly looks. It is easy to move it up and down the lathe bed as needed and to slide it off when finished.
